Javascript Engineer

Focus School Software is looking to expand our team by adding a full-time Javascript Engineer to our Automation team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Programming experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
Strong analytical thinking, problem recognition, and resolution skills
Strong ability to multitask and work in a team environment

Job Responsibilities include:

Create and maintain automated test scripts
Quickly identify, detail and report software defects
Work with the manual QA team to gather testing requirements

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Automated testing techniques
Knowledge of Selenium of Webdriver
Experience with JIRA

11. Write a JavaScript statement to find and log the maximum value in the following array: var data = [15, 3, 27, 8, 42]; *

12. Explain the difference between '==' and '===' in JavaScript, and give an example where using one over the other would change the outcome. *

13. Using JavaScript, create a simple function that filters an array of numbers to return only the even ones. For example, given [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6], it should return [2, 4, 6]. *

14. How would you use JavaScript to add an event listener to a button with id="submit" that alerts "Form submitted!" when clicked? Include how to prevent the default form submission behavior. *
